Olympia User Guide – Before Purchasing

The purpose of this page is to provide the necessary information to future Olympia Astrology users, before they purchase the software. Information, warnings, advice… please read the content below carefully before purchasing the software!

It is important for us to provide you with all this information, to guide you in your choice and ensure that you will be satisfied with the Olympia Astrology software.

Operating system: Please check that your operating system is compatible with Olympia software.
- If your computer is running Windows, check that the Windows version is at least Windows 10. Olympia runs under Windows 10, 11. From 2024, we no longer support updates for 32-bit Windows systems. There are installers for versions with Windows 7 and 8 but they are not updated anymore.
- If you are running MacOS, the version must be at least Sierra (version 10.12).
- If you’re on Linux, Olympia works on Debian-based systems, like Ubuntu and Mint. The latest tested version is Ubuntu 24.04. However, we recommend that future Linux users request a trial version beforehand.
The Olympia software sold on the site is not compatible with tablets and smartphones. For an app inspired by the software, if you are in the Apple world, for your iPhone and iPad, please go to your AppStore.
The Olympia software sold on the site is not compatible with Chromebook.

Screen Resolution: Olympia will not work properly if your screen resolution is lower than 1280×720 (pixels). Special message to Windows users: in your Windows display settings, the font size should not be greater than 100%. In case of a malfunction on this side, we can of course tell you how to adjust this parameter. Most importantly: do not purchase the software if your screen resolution is lower than 1280×720.
Delivery of the software: delivery is done electronically, i.e. by downloading the installation file directly to your computer. For physical delivery, in the form of a USB key, an order supplement of 20$ is requested. Be aware that this solution should be avoided as much as possible because future software updates will still be delivered electronically, by download. For any new shipment of USB key, a cost of 20$ will still be applied.
Computer Change: Your initial payment for the software will allow you to use it on the computer of your choice. A personalized password, depending on this computer, will be sent after your order. To install Olympia on a new computer (because you have several stations at home or because you are replacing the existing computer), the reinstallation of Olympia is charged 36$: this service is carried out on the Shop page of the site, with the Olympia product new post. To avoid copying to a third party, proof of purchase or possession of the new computer will be requested.
Trial version: If you are unsure whether Olympia meets your needs, or whether the software is compatible with your computer, it is recommended that you request a trial version of the software. You can make your request on the Contact page of the site. This trial version, limited in time, and with limited functions (study of a single chart) aims to test your familiarity with the software.
Updates: After your purchase, you get the service of free software updates on your computer. With each update available, you will receive a message when Olympia launches with a download link to the new version. A text and a video tutorial clearly explaining the software changes between the two versions will also be available.
Password: access to the software is protected by a password. As said above, the password depends on the computer. It is not the user who chooses it: after your order, your installation and your first launch of Olympia, a short and simple procedure allows you to request the password. This procedure is explained in detail in an email that you will receive after your order.
Delay in obtaining the password: when you request a password, human action on Olympia’s side is necessary, this is not an automatic process. We undertake to send you the password within 24 hours. Knowing that in practice, most of the time, this period is much shorter.
Help for using the software: Olympia incorporates two types of help into its content to guide you in using the software and taking advantage of its features. First of all, written content, like a user manual, which can be accessed in each software window. Then, video tutorials (internet connection required to view them), which are also accessible in most software windows.
Languages: Olympia is developed in French and English. The choice of language is made when starting the software. Important information: the help texts described above do exist in English. Video tutorials also (translation work running in 2024…)
Getting started video tutorial: as soon as your order is done and the password is generated, a link to a tutorial video (about 1h30) will be sent to you. This video is essential for your first moments with the software. It is strongly recommended to watch it, alongside your first use of Olympia, in order to guide you and ensure a good experience with the software.
User Questions: If you have any questions regarding the content or how to use Olympia, do not hesitate to use the Contact page of the site to ask your question. We will respond as quickly as possible, within less than a week. But we thank you in advance for always consulting the help (written or video tutorials) before asking your question.
Software content: Before purchasing, please ensure that Olympia’s content meets your expectations. You will find on the home page of the Home site, or on the Software Contents page, all the technical information on what you can do with Olympia. If in doubt, do not hesitate to ask your questions on the Contact page.
Refund of your order: the only case of refund of your order corresponds to a non-functioning of the software on your computer, such as an incompatible version. Please note that such reimbursement is made « net » of the commissions of the payment organizations used on the site, such as credit card payment fees. Any refund request motivated by a lack of content in the software, or by the fact that you do not like it or do not give you satisfaction, will be refused (we remind you that you can request a free trial version !). As soon as the software access password is sent to you, we consider the order to be final and non-refundable. Concerning the fact that Olympia is incompatible with your computer, you will be asked for video proof attesting to its non-functioning.
Contact email address: when you make your order, fields must be completed on the online store form, such as your email address, your postal address or your telephone number. It is not obligatory to give your telephone number, but in the event of a malfunction in email exchanges, it can be useful to contact you! Specifically, regarding email addresses, please enter an address that you consult regularly when ordering. Finally, we advise you to often consult the SPAM section of your email, especially during the first exchanges. It would be a shame if you missed information about the software because it was not sent to your inbox. A note regarding email servers: this is not obligatory, but as far as possible, do not indicate as a contact address an email address from Free, Orange, Wanadoo, SFR… These messaging services are indeed very restrictive in their spamming policy. Concretely, if we send you an email to such an address, the probability that it will end up in your spam folder is very high.
If you’re wondering whether the Olympia software can help users interpret astrological charts, note that two modules are available in the software:
- EgerIA: This is a paid subscription-based module (see the description on the Store page), which uses artificial intelligence algorithms to assist the user in understanding astrological elements. This module can be tested in the trial version of Olympia.
- Python : This is a free module where the user enters their own interpretation texts. These are often shared among users working on astrology together.
